WebId throw them on a necro/enchanter/SM. Pet classes are pretty easy to easy farm on and learn some of the class a bit with that "bubble" of protection of your pet. AOE DOTs are a pretty big learning curve when you don't have a reliable puller/buffs. But as said above, I'd throw a new player to DAOC on a dual wield light tank. WebI'd say necros are geared more for rvr than pve nowadays. If you wanna farm get a cabby. The class has one of the best pets in the game. Necros are a far cry from the farming machine they were years ago. phoenix still has the old necro, which i prefer. go to phoenix for the old necro experience.
