WebOct 7, 2012 · Yes it works but keep it low. 30-45mg works just fine @ 100MG you're likely to get more of a DXM effect than a kratom-opioid effect. It's not perfect, in fact sometimes the mix makes me dysphoric and agitated but overall yes it does work. I usually take DXM 30 minutes before my kratom dose. I once tried to use it to potentiate kratom. Very weird high. I do agree, it felt like a higher dose of DXM than I had taken, but at the same time not as pleasurable as a normal DXM high or a kratom high. They were both there, but it was a strange feeling.
