That pen is made to be used with somewhat drier inks; Pelikan's 4001, Pilot Black and Blue, and some others such as Akkerman Shocking Blue. (Look for "An Ink Guy" on YouTube, and find inks in the 2.7 - 3.0 viscosity range.)
